I have a concern. Lately I have convinced myself that not all hermetic compressors of the same consumption do not have the same volumetric displacement, to be clearer I mean the specific volume between the upper dead center and the lower dead center. Here diameter and piston stroke come into play. It turns out that in some work I have done I can tell the differences. Example, the most recent is a customer who burned the compressor of his refrigerator of 340 liters capacity, and the size as you could tell was 1/6. And he went and bought a new one not equal to the damaged one but also 1/6. After assembling all the frizzer, he only works halfway. What made me think here comes the specific volume of the compression chamber. I checked it because I have already uncovered compressors of both models and they don't have the same displacement. So I concluded that compressors should not be purchased for consumption if not better for their displacement. It should be similar to motorcycles whose engines are detailed by displacement. The compressors must be compared according to the btu / h or the displacement the electric motor is just an example reference compressor egas70 hlr and compressor egas 80hlr have the same lucky electric motor
