Hi. Maybe the timer is not properly installed, see if the numbering of the legs matches the one you removed. . When it enters defrost and the bimetal closes the timer should stop until the bimetal opens again. If the resistance turns on and the timer continues to run, there is a connection error. Hello friends, I finally solved the problem, let's start by saying that the timer that had strangely bought a resistor that has inside 5.2k was not resistance but a capacitor, I took the old timer again and gave myself the task of checking it thoroughly, I found two things, the first one that the 5.2K resistor, one of its ends is connected to pin 2 and not to pin 1 as I see in the tutorials and that the main fault was terminal 3 where one of the phases of the tension arrives and connecting one end of the motor coil was dancing or a bad contact, I corrected this and my fridge started working properly.
