Hello people! how are they? I am trying to repair a refrigerator that buys broken, white westinghouse brand, with freezer and no frost, r134 gas, 1380 tecumseh compressor. The owner says he burned by a drop in tension while he was vacationing. The problem is the following. The refrigerator cuts by thermal, I made the direct test and after the start it consumes 7.5 amp (measured in the extension cable, I don't know if it measured R or C) When looking for continuity between the poles and the chassis, it gives me a reading for a second but the continuity beep does not sound, however, if I measure resistance there if I have a reading. And after doing these tests, with the refrigerator disconnected, I touched the chassis and gave me an interesting kick. Are the steps I took to determine the fault okay? According to my deductions, the compressor must be the culprit, right? From already thank you very much!
