Hello friends! I want to tell you that I am trying to weld a refrigerator compressor with its respective pipe but it is proving impossible. I am using a Torch type welder (the one that goes with the disposable Mapp gas). I am using abundant flux and 0% silver rods, but the welding is very "thick", it adheres very little to the metal and is porous (If I am not mistaken it is compressor iron with copper from the spout). When I pay copper pipe with copper pipe welding is very liquid and distributed alone, but in this case it is winning me ... Did anyone do or try to do this job with this welder? Would you have to use other rods? Thank you very much for your help!!
