If it cools well and the 12-hour timer is the original one, the one you brought from the factory, then I recommend that you leave the refrigerator cool, since it came by design that way, any alteration it can negatively affect the operation of your refrigerator, now, if the timer was changed and you do not know what the original is, then place one of 6 or 8 hours, this way it will make more stops than the 12 hour one, but the time rest will be less, 20 or 21 minutes, as mentioned by colleague Gustavo. So far, I have never had problems setting a 6 or 8 hour timer when the customer does not know the original timer specification.
