Dear Friends of the Forum, I have a Whirpool 6th sense Model WRX51D1 refrigerator that loses water in the bottom of the freezer I read in other forum responses that it may be a problem of drainage due to the formation of ice and obstruction of the drainage channel and could be solved by throwing hot water to remove the ice. For this reason, I removed the back cover of the freezer, leaving the serpentine in sight but I did not find the famous drain pipe. What I saw was a block of ice just below the streamer. The query is: the drainage channel is under that block of ice and must be melted? Is it normal for that ice to be there? Thank you in advance!!!

Hi, how are you? The discharge hole is under that ice block on the left side, you can let it defrost naturally or by helping with a heat gun, fan, etc. you can surely have problem of system of thaw resistance, thermo fuse, sensor of thaw or the platelet greetings.
