Dear, Community consultation. because I don't know how to solve a bug. I have a Whirlpool wrm51p1 refrigerator that fails after the freezer door is closed for 12 hours The engine starts and works perfectly (+ 2hs as normal consumption) if the equipment remained without starting for 10/15 min. But the fault is making it when there are power outages (summer + Epec = cuts all the time) If, when the engine is running, the power supply is cut off and it returns immediately, the starter relay starts to calibrate and the consumption trips at about 3.5 Ampers, which causes the thermal protector to jump. The board had 2 doubtful electrolytic capacitors, but everything remains the same after its replacement. One person told me that the plate should not try to start the engine as soon as the service is restored because the motor coils are still loaded and that I should wait for about 10min, but that is commanded by the plate's micro and I do not understand why this fault is just now ? The relay seems to be fine Fridge: wrm51p1 series JA1819527 relay: Embraco 21351-6442 Engine: Embraco Eg 100HLR plate: 07932-24

Hello friend, it is logical to cut by thermal, it is as if you unplug it and want to plug it back in immediately it will not start, because the compressed piston head is left, so that the start has to be decompressed a little or that the pressures are balanced, and if I stay 12hs, with the freezer door closed badly it may be that the evaporator is a little blocked, I advise you to unblock it, so later it works better for you, greetings.

Hi Gustavo, I really appreciate the answer.
Do not clarify that leave the refrigerator for about 5 days between long weekend and search for capacitors.
And now I understand why it should not start immediately. But I still have the doubt about why he is doing it, that is, it is the same board that decides to start 15 seconds after restoring power. I imagine that there the problem is the plate ..

when you plug in the unit, the board does a 15-second test, connects the resistor, stops, connects the forcer and a few seconds later the motor compressor starts, that's the sequence it does, greetings.

I advise you to buy a current protector to protect the plate, if you say there are many power outages.

Hello Gustavo,
Yes, in fact it had one, and now I add a voltage stabilizer, Epec delivers 237.
What I did was put a reconnection delay of 2 minutes on the protector to allow the cylinder to have time to decompress.
I have it working at the maximum of cold 4 days ago and everything is going well.
