good afternoon, I tell you that my refrigerator does not cut, it is a refrigerator refrigerator Consul two doors, refrigerator and Freezer and finding out I came to the conclusion that I had to change the thermostat but also does not cut, I installed it as they told me so that the tip of the wire touch the wall of the refrigerator so that when it freezes! cut and nothing. Hi, is the thermostat you bought the same as the original? Did you put it in the same position? If the thermostat is well regulated, it has to cut off.

Hello, the thermostat that you place has the same numbering but it is Chinese, the one that came from the factory is from Brazil. It is supposedly the same model and I placed it as it was the original. thanks for comment.

Good morning friend, check with a thermometer that the temperatures inside your refrigerator are fine to first verify that your equipment is working properly, in the freezer you should have around -18 ºC and in the food preservation part around 3 ºC, If you do not have these temperatures, you may have problems with refrigerant leakage or partial obstruction in the filter drier and / or capillary tube, or the compressor has lost performance and does not compress well, if so, by not cooling well and never reaching the cut-off temperature, the thermostat will not cut the signal; but if it is cooling within the temperature range mentioned above, then you should verify that the electrical connection is good, and that one of the compressor phases passes through the thermostat, if it is connected properly, then I suggest you replace it.
