Greetings I have an unknown with a 9 or 12v DC panasonic fan motor the motor is used in refrigerators with electronic control but I will not give that utility, in the same way what I can learn will serve me in the future, it has 4 red wires, white, yellow and blue, if the corresponding connections are made white to negative, red to positive does nothing, but when joining yellow with red the engine starts, blue seems to be a Hall effect sensor, What I need to know is if you can connect directly to the corresponding voltage and let it work directly without the electronic card , I searched the Internet I found a video (HOW TO TEST PANASONIC FAN 9.75V) where they show how to connect BUT they say the test It must be done for short periods and do not explain why. I add reference image WP_20180407_001.jpg [284.22kb] Thanks in advance for your possible solutions

From what I saw it goes in an evaporator, that is, it works at low temperatures. Test at room temperature to see if it does not get too hot

Between the 12v condenser motor and the 9v evaporator, the voltage does not differ much, at least the ones I have, I just do not want to break the motor are extensively expensive

I do not think you have problems. It feeds it with the least of the voltages. In video they show it with a power supply of 9.5V and the motor supports 13. Surely the advice is not to drain the battery

Hello mate, If you are worried about the operating time you can place a small temperature probe in that voltage range they are very cheap and easy to get. otherwise I agree with the partner "joesan"
