gas charge r12

Hello, good morning everyone, my name is Vidal, I need if someone can give me a hand with a commercial refrigerator type showcase with a single evaporator, acmarmetic compressor 1/2 of 4.4 Amp. The customer calls me and tells me that when you turn on the refrigerator, only the condenser fan starts and not the compressor, and that the gas was lost through the top of the compressor. Well then I change the starter and work capacitors, and turn on the compressor without refrigerant, then I will buy the refrigerant, buy the cap, screw it on, nitrogen control to verify that it has no losses, then I empty 1/2 hour, and I send gas until it reaches a pressure of 55 psi, I turn on the refrigerator and I load the gas until it reaches 20 psi and let it walk 1/2 day and then unplug it and after 40 minutes I plugged it back in and it made a noise like I wanted to start and cut the heat, and so in several attempts I did not start, then I took out refrigerant, until it started again and again I was charging until it reached 20 psi and there it cools, but when it turns off or unplugging does not start has the same problem. What I do not know what the problem is if it is the compressor or something else, I need to give the customer a solution. I CLEAR THAT I STUDY ONLY FAMILY FRUITS AND VERY LITTLE OF COMMERCIAL. IF SOMEONE CAN GUIDE ME OR HOW TO CERTIFY THAT THE COMPRESSOR IS BROKEN

HELLO FRIEND, THAT POSSIBILITY AND THAT YOU ALREADY PLACED THE VALUES OF THE CAPACITORS, MAINLY THE STARTING.
YOU HAVE TO MEASURE THE CURRENT WHICH VALUES YOU HAVE.
AND LAST PROOF OF PLACING A CAPACITOR A LITTLE BIGGER IN START.
REGARDS.

Hi Oscar Yasinski Greetings, the starting capacitor is of the same value that was previously 101-107 mf, and the working one is 16 mf, that I deduced it by the compressor that was 1/2 hp acmarmetic, what do you think

I WAS READING THAT IN NORMAL ENGINES IT WOULD VARY BETWEEN 170 AND 240 mf FOR 1/2 hp BEFORE DISCARDING THE ENGINE YOU TEST ONE BIGGER, TOTAL YOU LOSE IF YOU ALREADY DISCARD IT.
BUT AS I TELL YOU, YOU HAVE TO MEASURE THE CURRENT TO NOT FALL INTO THE SAME WITH NEW MOTOR.
BECAUSE IT IS GOOD THAT I SEE THESE PROBLEMS AND IN GENERAL AND CHECKED THAT IN THE MAJORITY THE VITRINES WILL BE BY THEIR SYSTEM DO NOT WORK WELL WHERE A LOW CURRENT.
REGARDS.

hello buddy how are you 'do you have a tester to measure the compressor coils, it could also be a thermostat problem yes, but for me it's a motocompressor ploblem greetings

Hello colleague tomorrow afternoon I will go to measure the coils, and I will give you the values to give me your opinion, what I want is to be sure before changing the compressor, I do not want to buy the compressor and the same thing happens to me. Oh and it has expansion valve

If after 40 minutes unplugged and when reconnecting it again and does not start or make attempts with the new capacitor but of the same capacity that I had the safest, I am understanding that it does not hold up with the price that I have, I recommend you check the compressor of the sig . In this way you have to take all the gas out of it. Solder the compression tube, weld a service valve on the compressor tube where it compresses the plug of the service valve. you connect the compressor and you have to see that the price rises up to 500 pounds in a maximum of 15 seconds from there you stop the compressor and observe that the 500 pounds remain for a while, it may lower a little only if that test is ok you open the pressure gauge key Up to 250 pounds and saws your key immediately connect your compressor if it does not start or try your compressor no longer works and therefore you have to replace it luckily friend and I hope you follow my recommendations and I hope you comment on what happened

Hello how are you, you should try 12 to 15 psi and let it work a couple of days, greetings.

Good morning, there seems to be obstruction in the capillary tube or expansion valve, if there is obstruction or the valve is incorrectly calibrated, you will have to introduce a lot of refrigerant to the system so that you can have the working pressures, and with said excess refrigerant the The motor compressor suffers too much to restart, and it must wait too long for the pressures (the low and high) to be balanced to be able to start, check if after 1 or 2 hours being off, you pick it up and if it starts then the problem is excess refrigerant due to obstruction in the system.

Thank you for answering colleague, and I ask you how I do the cleaning in the case of the capillary and how the expansion valve is calibrated, because the client told me that after several hours I started the compressor again. Thanks for the collaboration

Well, you know that the problem is obstruction, but check if the expansion element is a valve or a capillary tube.

It is an expansion valve, and the client tells me that before it was going well, I ask you, can it be that the valve is barefoot alone? and how the valve is calibrated. Thanks again for the collaboration.

Good afternoon sirs; Today I went to see the refrigerator and still had the same problem, when it is unplugged and after a few minutes it is plugged in again, it wants to start and cut the thermal, well then I took gas from 20 psi to 12psi low and 140 psi high, With a consumption of 1.7 amp and let it walk and tomorrow the client notifies me if the starter varies or not, I did not want to touch the expansion valve. It seems to me that it is low current consumption, as you see the data that happens to them. I accept suggestions
