Hello friends of the forum, I tell you, my refrigerator does not start ... the compressor, engine, first made like a tac tac tac, and nothing else, then I made a bridge to see if the problem was the starter, or protector that has the engine , and I try to start, but no ... I don't do the tac tac tas, but now I try to start but after 2 seconds it stops, I leave photos of the model of the refrigerator I have and the "bridge" I made, maybe I did it wrong , or maybe I did well but there is another protection that does not let the engine start, I hope that the conclusion is not that what is damaged is the engine, that would be the worst of all, well, if someone can give me a hand I can I'm going to thank you, you can't be without a refrigerator. Greetings and thanks! My refrigerator is the same as this one. Patrick maxifresh This is the bridge I made, I hope you can identify the cables well.

Hi, thanks for your help. To do what you say you should take out the protection that has the compressor, right? Is it easy to get that out? there is no way to try it without taking out that "protector" thanks for your help.

You take out the complete and common relay disconnect along with the thermal protector

Well, if you left the bridge glued, the compressor is damaged, it is as the colleague told you, it is just an immediate and ready bridge, now also, you can shake the relay in your ear and if something sounds loose inside, then it broke the thermal tablet that brings the PTC relay, the relay can also be tested with a multimeter, it must have continuity its 2 holes, if it does not mark continuity it is because it is no longer useful, greetings

Hi Fermin, thanks for trying to help me, I tell everyone that in the end, after making some attempts to bypass the compressor, as seen in the photo. and see that it did not start, bone, tried to start, but with little force and with a noise that it never made before. After taking out the relay and seeing that the thermal pad was in good condition and I don't know what else. In the end the technician came who changed the filter in the summer, and made some tests similar to those that I did (only obviously, the insurance made them in a more correct way) and unfortunately the conclusion is that the ball, compressor .. ..

This spoiled, the repair comes 5000 Argentine pesos, I guess this comes a new compressor, which is not very clear, is whether it was with labor included or not, I really do not remember now, so, for the moment , I am debating whether I spend such money in repairing a refrigerator of almost 10 years, or if I look for an offer in 18 installments if there is one somewhere. and another question that remains is if the ball was bad, or I spoiled it with that bridge I made, although I watched about 100 videos before making the bridge, and when plug did not make explosions, sparks or anything.

I simply try to start and died, and that is what I do every time I plug it in, try to start with a low noise and low motor noise, and after a while you hear a "clack" that I guess is the relay or the other protection behind it of the relay that cools me something, and just there if I plug it in, again try to start and cut, but well, doubts or not, the verdict is already given, so now everything depends on the pocket, thanks for your help and sorry for the delay in responding!
