The original r12 we know is a pure gas and is charged in the gas phase for home refrigerators. The substitute blends are mixtures of 2 or 3 gases and are therefore charged in liquid phase. for such reasons the behaviors in operation are different and the performance too. R12, R22, R134 are pure, they can be increased or removed without altering their composition. The blends do not, to load it is in liquid phase as already said and to remove it you have to turn off the machine and wait for the pressures to level. otherwise they decompensate. The mixed gases have different densities, when gas is removed in the gas phase they come in different percentages. In any case I would recommend you load it with R600 and you will have a result similar to r12. and works with it. oil than 12
