Hair change refrigerator with freezer

Disassemble a freezer to change capped capillary, I find a piece connected behind the evaporators (before removing the yellow insulating foam) between the evaporator of the freezer itself and the one inside the refrigerator itself, which is very similar to a cylindrical Moisture filter, so find out is a liquid trap, 1) is it called that? 2) Should I change it too? 3) Does it have a molecule inside? It catches my attention that it was very hidden covered by the foam or the sheet that covers the refrigerator behind, as if it were a piece that never changes? Thank you in advance and I clarify that I am fond of home repairs, not an expert.

That trap comes in the return tube and eye, the one that proposes you to put a filter, it is not like that, you would have to cut and remove the stones and then weld it and now yes, you place it in the return tube, but I don't see it case, because it already brings the trap, greetings

It is not necessary to change that TRAP, indeed, it is called a trap, it does not bring stones or molecules as you call them, on the other hand, you could have uncovered the capillary tube, I if it had been you, I do not uncover all the polyfoam, it is a row, but anyway, good luck, regards
