Hello, very good community, I take the opportunity to see if you can help me with my 740 magic queen fridge since I change thermostat, timer and bimetallic ...... She starts very well but she can't freeze since the thermostat stops at about ten minutes the coil begins to frost and then starts again but it happens the same way ... It seems to be going to freeze very quickly .... I open the freezer door and then start the fan and start freezing the coil BUT WITH THE OPEN DOOR OTHERWISE NOT ..... I did the test by removing the THERMOSTAT AND BRIDGING THE CABLES AND IT WAS FREEZING UP AND KEEP BELOW but the motor compressor does not rest until I turn the clock manually .... 1- with the new thermostat connected, it does not freeze up or cool down ...... IT GOES LIKE A DEFROST MODE WITHOUT REACHING THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE BUT I OPEN THE UPPER DOOR AND START THE FAN AND ITSELF TO FREEZE THE SERPENTIN. ... I CLOSE THE DOOR AND HAPPENS THE SAME ..... 2- I BRING THEM THE THERMOSTAT CABLES AND THEN WORK WELL BUT NOT FOR THE COMPRESSOR UNTIL I GIVE IT BACK TO THE WATCH

If you changed the thermostat for one that is not of the same cut-off range, the problem will continue. Apparently you put one that cuts before equipment reaches the temperature he needs

THERE IS A point that I do not understand, when opening the door does the fan work? isn't it the other way around? why then when you close it goes out? Now, if you work 10 minutes and cut by thermostat, because the thermostat is still bad again, the thermostats go bad many times or the bulb is incorrectly placed, sometimes a plastic lining is placed to the bulb, so that it lasts longer working, try a plastic cover and see how it works, regards

Good morning Mr. Fermín ..... He explained a little more detailed .... The fan works with the door closed and starts well but just begins to frost the coil goes out (with the door closed) .... When I open the door begins to work better I think that the bulb detects that it starts to lose cold (with the door open and the thermostat on if it manages to freeze the coil but ideally do so with the door closed I think ???

Good morning, dear Roberto, then correct what you say here, is that when you open the door above the fan works .............. it is the opposite, when you open the door you must turn OFF .
Copy the part of your comment: with the new thermostat connected it can not freeze up or cool down ...... IT GOES LIKE A DEFROST MODE WITHOUT REACHING THE PROPER TEMPERATURE BUT I OPEN THE UP DOOR AND START THE FAN ALREADY TO FREEZE THE SERPENTIN .... I CLOSE THE DOOR AND HAPPENS THE SAME .....
2- I BRING THEM THE THERMOSTAT CABLES AND THEN WORK WELL BUT NOT FOR

Hello very good day friends I could not edit the question xq I do not get the option ... I WAS ALREADY DONE FAILED .... THE FOLLOWING HAPPENED MY Fridge ORIGINALLY BRINGS THE THERMOSTAT IN THE UPPER DOOR (IN THE FREEZER) thing Uncommon and the thermostat that I buy is for the refrigerators that have the thermostat on the bottom ... This works with a slightly higher temperature that is why it stopped before it managed to freeze ... change it position for the bottom and is working well although it is not the correct thermostat
