If it is the reserve water tank I don't think it matters, but remember that the water will be hot whenever the car is running, this could heat the tube and take it off, but above all and more important : water (cooling) oil (lubrication) are the fundamental ones and should not fail, it is advisable to put another similar one in good condition.
