In my workshop came a freezer consul 520 lts. 2 doors that does not freeze. Note that it had the short capillary and 0.036 inches the gauge. Replace the capillary with a 0.045 inch caliber, also the filter, and the freezer freezes in half by having changed the capillary with the length of 3m, which was previously one meter and practically did not freeze. But the issue is that frost a thin layer up to half of the freezer after a night of funicone, and not frost as it should. I mean it cools but doesn't freeze. I charged gas until ice returned in the return can, assuming of course I had enough gas. But I really don't know why it does not freeze. The engine works at 1.6 amp. The pressure will load up to 8 psi, after a night of work under the pressure I reach 1 psi. Check also the engine I had it run outside and had good compression, I couldn't hold the pressure with my finger

Good evening, it would be good if you passed the compressor model to verify its capacity in btu / h and to be able to verify the capillary tube

Hello, thank you for your interest. It is a freezer consul 2 doors 520lts., Clutch engine model egas 100 hlr 220 v, 50-60hz, as it said has a capillary of 0.042 inches of 3 m in length.
The pressure at this moment is 1 psi, the return pipe is frozen. And it doesn't freeze an ice in 9 hours of work.

What type of condenser does the freezer carry?
Is it forced air or is it the one that carries internally on the outer walls of the freezer ?.
I ask, because it seems to me a condenser issue, for the description given by the colleague

Hello how are you, the frezeers work with negative pressures to reach the desired temperature, this refrigerant is passed greetings.

Good evening Miguel, I think you have problems with the selected capillary tube, what wave frequency do you have in your home? 50 Hz or 60 Hz? Many will believe that this does not matter, but that compressor has a certain cooling capacity if work in 50 Hz or 60 Hz according to these 2 documents: http://mail4.ansal.com.ar/Documentacion/pdfs/575013.pdf http://www.embraco.com/DesktopModules/DownloadsAdmin/Arquivos/3LReD3PsO0.pdf If it works at 50 Hz the cooling capacity is 855 btu / h, while if it works at 60 Hz, the cooling capacity is 1050 btu / h, and for each of them, a certain capillary length applies

Possibly the capillary but I already put the penultimate caliber of the list on 0.042 ". Could you tell me what size the 2-door freezer generally uses?

Well, here in Venezuela the current has a wavelength of 60 Hz, for us that compressor works with a capacity of 1050 btu / h which is the capacity that one finds for those types of freezer with that volume, here we put 1, 75 meters capillary 0.031 ".

If the wave frequency in your locality is 50 Hz, then the 3 meters of 0.042 "are fine; another little thing, did you test the compression of the motor with the pressure gauge by installing a valve in the discharge line ?, because many compressors manage to throw us away the finger, but at the time of measuring the compression, they do not reach 400 psi, many only reach 100 psi and still they throw away the finger but they will not work to work in a refrigerating equipment, that is another detail to take into account .
