Hello friends. They help me with a problem. The camera initially stopped frosting the evaporator and was halfway doing it. Try to open the valve so that more liquid will enter but it remains the same. I decided to change the valve x a hole with hole number 3 and I emptied and loaded with r404 leaving the pretions at 25 and 300 but the problem seemed the same. Then I opened half flies and began to frost the evap and the pressure of low low to 260 and low to 27. As I saw improvement in the evaporated I went to my house but they called me that I do not want to lower the temp of 5 ° F. Another thing What I realized at the end was that the previous valve had hole 2 and I put num 3. What should I do to get down to -10 F?

Measure the temperature of the tube that leaves the evaporator at a distance of one foot and compare it with the pressure you have in temperature
Example
- You have 27psi in the suction, you are looking for the temperature pressure table of 404a which in this case would be -7 f
- You measure the temperature of the tube that I told you
-Respect evaporation temperature which in this case would be -7 at which you give the other measurement
The difference must be between 10 and 12 f
If you give much less you have excess gas
If it gives you very high, say 20 means that there is a lack of gas
This is how the efficiency of the cooling equipment is checked

Hello, to lower to -10f the suction pressure has to be between 15 and 16psi with the 404a. To obtain an evaporation around -22f. At 27 psi it is evaporating at -7, remember that the evaporation must be at least 10 or 12 degrees below the temperature you want to obtain.

My corduroy currently pressures were 25 and 260. I managed to frost the evaporator but it seems that I need more frost to keep the temp down. And if I better open the valve?

If you open the valve you will have more psi in the suction. Where you have placed the bulb of the VET.

Another thing: that I have put hole 3 affects me at something to the temp ?? I had num 2.

That depends on your team. Do you know what the original was?
Did you put the 404a in liquid or gas phase?

And if I have more psi in suction, how does it affect me? When I open the vet, the liquid evaporator will fill me more.

In liquid phase and the original hole was num 2.

If you wear vet, you have to carry a receiver tube. As a guide it takes that the receiver tube must carry 70% of liquid gas, so that the valve acts well. I think that equipment is missing gas, emtrada can not be left with 25 psi. It is R-404, low temperature. This gas just decreases its pressure as the internal cabinet temperature drops. Before that no, the pressures are high. Unless you have a KVR or non-return valve in the compressor suction.

Well, it would also be nice to know what your camera is for.
Because from -21 ° C to -23 ° C approx you want to achieve there is not much difference.
And another thing, the gas charge is not considered based on pressures only. Each equipment is designed with an amount in kg of gas to be carried.
That is, if it is designed with 5kg, do not intend to reach your task with half. So leave the pressures as the best engineer tells you.
As long as it is not fully loaded, it will not perform as it should.
