Hi Pablo: Just put the tips of the multimeter in the terminals of connection to the motor compressor, and then turn it upside down (to the Klixon) that would have to close the circuit, if it does not mark the continuity of the circuit it is because it is malfunctioning.

Not my dear, with the Klixon out of the motocompressor. In the place where the pins of the MC to the Klixon enter, in those holes it has two contacts, in those contacts it is where you place the tips of your multimeter, placed in continuity measurement, in position as it would go in the motocompressor you do not have to mark anything, but when you turn it over, you should measure continuity. Of course being a traditional amperometric Klixon and not a PTC that is different even if the function is the same.
