Hi Lisandro, yes it is a hot / cold device, it could well influence the relay that feeds the fan itself from the indoor unit, but first you should check the fan capacitor that could be devalued, or the fan itself, it has some winding fault electric, or in the bearings or friction points of the shaft, if the bearings are defective, the fan motor itself will turn hard until its internal thermal protection is triggered. You can also check by measuring all the cables with each other, to know if one of them has no communication with the rest, in that case you should replace the fan or repair its electric winding.
