Split does not work

Hi. I have the following problem, I do maintenance for a company, they asked me to review a (split) equipment of 3000 cold refrigerators only that last year it was underway and in the winter the outdoor unit moved to the ceiling. the indoor unit turns on but no compressor, check and 220V did not reach the compressor, the funny thing is that two live arrive and between each of them and the ground (V / A cable) I have 220V. Check the indoor unit and in the terminal board that comes from the board I have both terminals L1 and L2 alive. That is, from the indoor unit there are two live instead of live and neutral and between those live and the grounding terminal marks me 220 V Could it be because the fuse on the board has blown?

Good Mr. Edujunin, you say that the air is 220 Vac, but neither the compressor nor the fan motor works in the outdoor unit? If so, then we are doing well. you should check the cable that connects the internal unit with the external unit and that cable comes with 3 cables inside and each one of them must be connected to the L1-L2-GND terminal strip. check the programming of the remote control and it must be in COOL-- 20 Centigrade. Check the Air Display and see if it indicates any Error or Failure ... for example E2 --- F2 ... Regarding the measurement of voltages that you made in the terminal board I think you did not perform them properly .. and we will perform them correctly ok and follow these steps: (1) disconnects electrical power. (2) disconnect the 2 cables from the terminal block and leave only the Gnd one connected. These 2 cables that you disconnect should not make contact with each other or with the metal. (3) connect the electric power. (4) use the Tester on the Vca scale, at 750 vol or at 300 vol and connect each end of the Tester to each cable. (5) you have to turn on the air unit and after 3 minutes you should arrive at the 220 Vac Tester, that is, wait for the indoor unit to send or pass the voltage to the external unit. This way you are measuring the voltage is correct, since with the 2 wires connected, what you are doing is measuring a false voltage or a voltage return. you should check the wiring of the external unit and for that you remove the top cover. Mr Edujunin summarizing, that fault has or may be due to these causes: Note when it does NOT work, neither the compressor nor the fan ok. (a) temperature sensor failure. (b) poor programming of the remote control. (c) failures in the interconnection cable between the indoor and outdoor unit. (d) Compressor relay damaged. (and)

Hi
The measurements were made correctly, I am an electrician. With the wires that go to the condensing unit disconnected, I energize the board and it reaches 220 V but at the output I have two live

aja but that's what I don't understand that 2 live arrive? if you measure in the 2 disconnected cables in the condensing unit it has to measure 220 Volts or 2 live lines and if you measure a live line with respect to Gnd it will measure you around 100 volts and if you do the same with the other line and Gnd It will measure you around 100 volts. so that means that if there is communication between the internal unit and the external unit, and we are assuming that only 3 cables reach the external unit the L1 - L2 --- GND.
If what I indicated to you is correct, then it means that the fault is within

the condensing unit, and you should check that wiring and in the plastic cover that covers the strip there is the electrical scheme of that external unit.
recapitulating, if there is 220 Vac between L1 and L2 of the terminal block of the condensing unit and with the 2 cables detached, that means that if there is communication between the 2 units.
you do this other test with the 2 cables disconnected you put the Tester and turn on the air and there must be 229VAC and turn it off by remote control and turn it back on immediately and measure on the 2 cables and after 3 minutes the 220 must arrive vca and that time

This waiting time of 3 minutes is the protection time for the compressor so that it does not start immediately every time it is operated.
Any questions comment here.
