Hi 17681896: What you have to do is what the equipment manual indicates. But if you don't have the manual, the thing changes. First to determine is whether it is 220v or 110v because that varies the consumption and therefore you have to vary the conductor sections. Personally when the manual does not clarify anything and in particular cases I work with 2.5mm2 conductors for equipment such as the one you are commenting on, and being cold / hot it is 5 coiled conductors (TPR).
