Good evening, I have the following doubt, I have an air of 14000 btu, the hose that comes out of the indoor unit had it connected to the corrugated hose that the air kit brought and is placed in a drum with a lid, which when it started filling to lose, then I changed it. So I used that water. The issue is that the whole hose is cracked and exchanged for a common hose, the watering one, now when the container is filled there is no water coming out of the holes in the lid and water begins to lose through the indoor unit. If I take the hose out of the container, it starts to drain all the water left in the inner tray. What can be? From already thank you for the answers.

If the hose is fitted to the lid, it does not allow air to flow out of the bottle and consequently accumulates water in the hose and therefore in the lower tray of the equipment. What you have to do is that the hose is loose with respect to the lid, allowing air to escape and filling / overflowing the container. Or directly without a lid, when it reaches the top of the water, this container will overflow, allowing the water to drain from the hose.

Hi TSR: As your colleague Lenin (greetings) gives you, the water collects through the irrigation hose and a column is formed that reaches the drain pan. Now that said, the hose never has to remain in the drain water, because in that it overflows by the evaporator, it can wet some electronic part of the equipment, in some cases with serious breaks. As ricardoabranc says, about the hose fitted to the lid, I clarify that the lid was perforated, just so that the air and water came out when the container was filled. The solution you apply is, drill the hose just above the lid, then when the container is filled and the hose begins to fill, it starts to drain out there, so the water is not returned to the inner tray, tested and working .
