Hi Pablo, I give you the same recipe, which I have given to the Lord, technician 123. It has nothing to do with the remote control. Remove the platelet, check one by one all the plate welds and its display, weld if necessary, get the WD-40 spray or the (Water Dispers) of CASTROL, to clean the electronic board and all its connectors including of the display, that product is widely used in cars to remove moisture in the current distributor (Delco) and similarly would help you with your equipment, also it is not at all aggressive with the varnish, or with the electronic components in the license plate. Then use a toothbrush, to brush the part of the welds on the platelet, to remove sulfatations between the welds that put the plate and its components in short circuit, then with a heat gun or a hair dryer, apply heat, several times repeated at intervals, on the electronic components, without getting to fly much the temperature that can damage any component, thus eliminating the greatest amount of moisture, which is surely the worst evil that hits your equipment, together with the false contacts of welds in poor condition.
