Good day, forista, as you will realize, I am new to this refrigeration, I will comment on my problem to see if anyone can help me. I have a split whirlpool sixth sense of 6000 refrigerators R22 , which works well in cold mode but NOT in heat mode, since in this mode turns on the compressor and the forcer of the condenser works for a while and skips the therma. (I imagine that this is the problem). and another thing that I realized is that it gave me a flirtation, When I measured it, it has a grounding discharge (disconnect the interconnection cables and I see that the discharge continues, so I presume that the discharge comes of the indoor unit) The data I can provide are, 40psi low in cold mode 9.5 amp in the same mode. temperature up to 10ºc

Did you also disconnect the ground wire .... (usually yellow green connected to chassis)?

if the grounding cable of the two units is connected (internal and external)

In case you did not understand the query I disconnected the 5 cables that reach the terminal of the outdoor unit

There is a possibility that the ground wire is energized, and that said fault is foreign to the equipment
For this, two possibilities
1- Earth leakage in any part of the installation together with an inoperative or non-existent grounding and differential, the voltage reaches the equipment through this ground wire
2- Earth insulated protection cable, this can cause this cable to be energized by induction
2-

good, cold also tickles you? If not, check the solenoid coil that activates the cold heat valve. It can be grounded or some of its bare wires, making discharge when it is fed. This is located in the outdoor unit, on the compressor and behind the capacitor area. If it also tickles you in the cold, you should try a separate forger, compressor, and see which of the 2 maybe gets to ground when it starts. regards!!

Hi Kboeste, the ground or ground pass, you should check it separately, if you remove the 5 wires you stop feeding the outdoor unit and so you can know if the grounding comes from the indoor unit, but not if it happens in the outdoor unit , which is usually where it comes from. Check out. The solenoid valve measures it by continuity, as I will explain later with the compressor, the capacitors are also grounded put some insulating material that separates it from the equipment, plastic or rubber, check the cables to the compressor especially in its terminals, measure continuity ground or ground with a multimeter on the lowest ohm scale, disconnecting the cables by measuring directly to the compressor terminal without an electrical current connection, one by one, all terminals, against the housing or against the pipes where there is no rust or paint, only with the multimeter and also the same thing to the fan but from the cables to the body or housing of the fan, measure all, the terminals and the cables have to offer some reading to each other, but never to earth or mass. Another thing that catches my attention is the low pressure of 40 pounds / psi, it must be above 60 psi, otherwise the equipment is failing refrigerant, unless there is a lot of environmental cold in your country. Good friovega, I assimilate that it is in Argentina, where it is winter and when putting the equipment in cold it has that pressure due to the low external temperature. Normally in winter the equipment handles 40 to 45 lbs of low. (with R-22)
