Hello, I am a little new in this communications and I need to know if for my vhf repeater that transmits in the frequencies of 162.8 MHZ to 167.8 MHZ I can buy the SINCLAIR MR256N-3 duplexer with the following data: Frequency range 160 to 174 MHZ Input VSWR (max) 1.5: 1 MHZ frequency separation range 4.5 min / 10 maximum Insertion loss (max) Tx to ant db 1.5 As you can see, these are the data that appear on the manufacturer's website, what the last two parameters do not understand, any explanation would be helpful ...............

Hi Reiner Ideally, the duplexer should be adjusted in a laboratory at the exact frequency to be used. But from what I could see in the technical data to think about buying, you will not have problems. Always remember to use very good quality coaxial cable, do not exceed the maximum power allowed by the duplexer manufacturer (in this case, 50w) and that the connectors are of extreme quality and well placed.

Greetings friend that duplexer works perfectly for you buy it you just have to check if it is new or and if it is used I do not have any endurance bumps the last data only indicates that a percentage of power is lost, and the separation between the two frequencies
