Thank you very much for your response, it's more or less what I thought, I ask you, is it necessary that these cables have a special measure? or nothing more than the 4 are the same? why and I thought to see the 2 longest cut to the size of the shorter ones taking logically into account that they reach me well from the stressor to the dipoles or is it best to calculate them with some formula? and another query, what acceptable tolerance can there be between the length of one cable or the other or if or if they have to be exactly 4 of the same size? Thank you very much again for your help
It is not really necessary that the 4 cables have a special measure, it is true that there is a controversy that the ideal measure should be a multiple of 1/2 wave, but in practice I have not noticed a difference when the cables are not multiples of 1/2 wave, what is essential is that the 4 cables measure the same length and that the dipoles are properly tuned to 50 ohm, a difference of 2cm between the cables generates a loss of power due to mismatch the greater the difference the greater the loss. That's why ROE meters are used to calibrate the whole set.
