I have a question, I have an enface or distributor whatever they want to call solid, enter the cable into a tip and have the 4 connectors for each dipole. These 50 ohms cables between the enface and each dipole all have to have the same length measurement, right? Or can you put for example the 2 ends a measure and the 2 shorter ones? I check this because when the whole set was purchased, all the cables were the same, then I changed the frequency from 103.3 to 101.9 dipoles, harness and this left me 2 wires of one measure and 2 of another but the training does not work well, it covers more with 1 single dipole than with the 4 and it is the great doubt that I have if each dipole was readjusted, all are correct, I understand that they would have to be the 4 equal cables so that each dipole reaches the same power with the same speed or this does not influence? Another thing, these cables that measures would have to have or not matter while they are all the same? Thank you in advance for the comments you can give me

Indeed, the 4 hoses (50 omhs cables that go from the distributor to the antenna) must have the same length so that there is a correct distribution of the wave and the 4 antennas have the same phase at their input and output and do not interfere with with others, this is important because as rf is known as AC alternating current, then, if the hoses have different measurements, for each hose different phases of the wave will come out, while for one the positive peak comes out for the other the negative peak will leave or the null of the wave, this will cause an effect of interference with each other, consequently the performance of the antenna set will be zero even the power transistors can cause damage.

Thank you very much for your response, it's more or less what I thought, I ask you, is it necessary that these cables have a special measure? or nothing more than the 4 are the same? why and I thought to see the 2 longest cut to the size of the shorter ones taking logically into account that they reach me well from the stressor to the dipoles or is it best to calculate them with some formula? and another query, what acceptable tolerance can there be between the length of one cable or the other or if or if they have to be exactly 4 of the same size? Thank you very much again for your help

It is not really necessary that the 4 cables have a special measure, it is true that there is a controversy that the ideal measure should be a multiple of 1/2 wave, but in practice I have not noticed a difference when the cables are not multiples of 1/2 wave, what is essential is that the 4 cables measure the same length and that the dipoles are properly tuned to 50 ohm, a difference of 2cm between the cables generates a loss of power due to mismatch the greater the difference the greater the loss. That's why ROE meters are used to calibrate the whole set.
