Equipment manufactured in China or countries in Asia, does not mean that they are not original. regards

I don't know Kenwood, but for example Yaesu there is a place where you can enter the serial number of the equipment and it tells you if it is original or not. I've seen fake yaesu and Icom equipment. It would not be strange if there is also kenwood.



I think it is best to look at the infamous details but you can tell, the manual if there is an original warranty and if it is sold by a private individual who bought it again in its box. And sometimes if you can compare it with one that we know original.

What shows more than in kenwood radio is not original first the price, the tk3000 offer it in 50 dls when it costs more than 150 dls and they use the first versions of software and cannot be programmed with the most recent versions, physically they are almost same but the pirate radio chassis is brighter than the original plus some advanced features the programs but they don't work
