Hello friends of I REPAIR, it is a pleasure to be able to communicate with you, I am from Peru, and I have a problem with my Epson T50 Printer: It all started that every time I made an Impression I had to star cleaning heads with the program of the same Printer, all good until there, but one day just as usual I cleaned the print head print and the Machine stopped, I left a machine Report that the internal print counter reached its maximum preset by the manufacturer .; Perfect, I downloaded the RESET T50 software or program, I followed all the steps for the reset, and in the end it tells me: click on INITIALIZATION TO RESET THE PRINT COUNTER (WAIT 20 SECONDS) PASSED THIS TIME DISCONNECT THE PRINTER AND CONNECT IT AGAIN; but I waited for approximately 20 seconds and I didn't turn it off, I just clicked on FINISH, and then I turned it off and went back to Connect and I got two Red lights that flash at the same time and a message that said GENERAL ERROR I already did the maintenance of the heads, Cleaning of spilled ink, but it is still the same in GENERAL ERROR And when you hit the PAPER ROLLER on the printer's power button, it takes a quick turn as if it were pulling or loading paper. that's all I don't know what to do please help me take away that general mistake. many thanks friends.

you say that the roller turns fast when that happens because the roller sensor must be dirty or damaged and of course there will be general error if the roller does not turn smoothly the carriage will not move and the general error comes out that error by the carriage rod height sensor fix and comment luck

Hi Freddytecnico Friend, it is true that the AGP sensor comes out when I brush it, look at it with magnifying glass and it is clean and I usually checked the sensor under the ink cartridge and it is clean, I reassembled but the two red lights and the reel still come out just keep spinning just a quick turn and there it stays every time I turn it on again always do the same, I will tell you that yesterday I took out the roller and when I assemble again I started to move the ink compartment in a sweep fast just ran to the right and stayed there, disarm arm and again fast turn of the reel.

Hi good day! It may be that the reset you did was not performed correctly and for that reason it marks the general error, did you try to do the reset again ?! If this is not the case, try resetting again, this may solve the error, tell us about your progress. Luck! Regards!
