I will be grateful if you can give me details on how to proceed to replace the internal battery of the Panasonic KX-FP88AG FAX.

Hello, you must disassemble it and you will find the battery (button type) on the digital board, it is soldered.
Once you change it you will almost certainly have to schedule the fax again.

Hi there is no procedure, you have to desolder the battery of the main board and then vovler to solder the new one, you would have to get or make solder the pins to the new battery. Why are you going to change that battery?
