Low voltage in lines

Good morning with everyone, I have a doubt, I just installed three machines for a printing press one of these machines works with a transformer of 220 to 380 v; but the voltage that reaches the energy meter varies between 207 to 217 v. Can the fault be the transformer that feeds the apple?

Where are you from? If you are from Argentina, there they provide 380 volts three-phase for industry, business and buildings, you can use the 3 phases directly and put the engines in 380 volts. In Argentina they use 1 phase of 380 volts for housing and the neutral one to have 220 volts; in other places in Latin America 220 three-phase + neutral voltages are used for 110 volts, in Venezuela the 3 phases are quite stable but there are places that have voltage variation which depends on the transformers in the poles that feed the apple, which are too charged and low voltage

I am from Peru and different voltages are handled (220,380 and 440) do not have a control or a specific sector for the distribution of tension for the industry and try to distribute between industries and homes, but my doubt was basically the transformer overload as a root problem of the low voltage, in this case, would the transformer have to be changed or what has to be done?

No Alexander, first you have to see if these transformers have the maximum tap, if you have to change them. The tap is a bridge that changes place to increase the tension provided, but has a limit and if it is already in the limit, if you have to change the transformers (the 3) for more powerful ones

Hello Distribution transformers can vary the output voltage through a selector; The voltage is handled in such a way that between high and low, which depend on seasonal consumption, it is maintained at an average value. Unless the traffic is at the limit of what it can give (it is very likely to be at its maximum), manipulating the selector can obtain the desired voltage. If there is low voltage permanently, it requires the service provider to raise the voltage.

if it seems that the traffic is at the limit

you can't know that unless they uncover it and check where the voltage selector bridge is; if you still have to increase, then better, because for some transformers to change in some places it lasts a lot

Hi. What power is the machine you mention and the rest of the loads? You have tried to change phase. Being a transformer or auto transformer "will feel" these voltage variations. Do you have three-phase in place? Can you ignore the transformer or is it cross-phase? Regards

The large machine is 15 kva 3 ~ / 380v without neutral; and the other two machines are from 5kw to 2 ~ / 220v.
Yes, I have changed the phases to give the correct direction of rotation to the main engine of the machine.
