Dear, both plates are similar, but not compatible. The 6206 plate is for 6 kilos and 600 RPM. The 6209 plate is for 6 kilos and 900 RPM. The risk of placing a 900 RPM plate on a machine designed for 600 RPM is that the steel basket can break and seriously damage the tub and the entire washing machine. Regards
