Hello friends, the problem I have is the following, the main stopcock of the house had a loss of water outside it, and in turn when it closed it did not cut the passage of water, key was very old, I managed to change it but still losing water and still not cutting the passage of water to the house. I would like to know what the problem may be if the key is new and the water continues to pass.

Hi If the key is new you should not have problems. It would be interesting to know that it feeds that key, general and water tank, only water to the upper tank and on the other hand to know how you verify that it does not cut. I make this comment to you because in the case of feeding an upper tank you have to keep in mind that when closing the stopcock the water that is in the pipe will try to return. That is; Until the pipe is empty, water will continue to flow. For this reason, when a general key is cut, it is about opening the lower bobbin (usually the bidet). regards

Hi Ricardo!
Surely feed the entire house and an upper tank, I tell you that the key is at the beginning of the entire network (at the entrance gate to the house), and after the general key of the water company (which is located on the sidewalk).
I deduced that it does not cut because when I close, water still comes out of a tap that is next to the faucet, and also from the kitchen faucet, but I had not taken into account that there could have been water in the auqneu network It is closed.
What do you recommend me to verify then whether it cuts or not?

What I explained above. Close the general stopcock and open a cold water tap as low as possible (bidet or the key next to the general one). Wait a little while to empty the pipe, sometimes it is necessary to open two simultaneously for air to enter, but everything ends up leaving to work quietly.

To enable water again you have to do the same. First open the general one little by little by keeping the faucets open to take out all the air and then closing one by one each one of the ones you have opened. That you have to do in all the cold water tap that come directly from the street. If it comes from the tank it is not necessary. If you have any questions here I am. regards

If you have hot and cold water directly from the tank, you can do it only with the tap that you have close to the general one and water from the kitchen (but hey; that depends on the distribution of the installation)
