I don't get hot water.

Hello good, I have a problem with hot water. I have an electric thermos but I think the problem comes from the pipe. When I open the stopcock without having any bathroom faucet open, water can be heard flowing inside the wall (from inside the bathroom and from outside the house). If I turn on the shower faucet the sound gives up and water comes out normally. I do not know if there is a leak (which is what I think) since the thermos does not draw hot water I suppose that because the water is not maintained, but if it were so, water would not come out either, right? I would like to know if it is so to know whether or not to sting on the wall or if it could be some other problem. Thank you

Hello, from what you say, you have a leak with certainty, you already have work, I think it will be in the hot water outlet pipe, but to know a certain thing do this, slowly release the cold water inlet pipe, if it comes out abundant water, (squirt often, not gushing) you have the leak after the heater, if the water spurts, (water comes out, stops, water comes out and so) you have the leak before the heater, all this with the closed stopcock configuration-of-the-thermos-electricos.jpg [94.86kb] as you can see the water enters through the lower part and the hot one comes out through the upper part of the heater, so that the heater needs to be drained to empty the heater, you will say the result, but heat the hammer, Cheers

You already have a lot of cattle, but you have no other solution to open, to repair, in the case of the drops you do not say where they fall, if by the threads, or by some pore that with the use has been possible, I don't know how long It has that heater of use, think that heat creates lime and this is enemy # 1 of the metal with what causes it to rust and end up drilling, the best repair and for me the only valid one, change of heater, he says, if I can help you in something else, but that is not biting the wall, I am already 55 and itchy a lot in my life

Hello again, look, I've been watching and I have discovered at least that the problem is not the hot water tank. I have removed the mesh or hot water outlet pipe that connects with the pipe that leads directly to the tap and when opening the water comes out there and hot. Therefore the problem must be somewhere in the pipe. In my urbanization the water has a lot of lime and I don't know if the pipe in question is copper or not exactly. Assuming that this is the case and that there is a lime jam the problem has to be either at the entrance or at the exit to the tap. I don't know what else to look at. Maybe disassemble the tap?

Well look, do this test to see if you are leaking, with all the keys closed, you open the general stopcock and you look at the water meter if any wheel or needle moves, that is, if it tells you consumption, I don't know how it will be your water meter, if it moves you know you are leaking, you talked about a noise in the wall, so let's discard something doing this, so I understand what you say, when giving way to the water some indication will give us the water meter consumption, so you will have to see where the water is going.

Hi Ezequiel one of the possibilities is that in one of the mixers the hot water is passing you to the cold water pipe. To determine that, check if the cold water comes out warm. To make sure you have a loss, check if the hot water tank hits the contact and does not release

I discovered that the noise comes from the cold water inlet tube and that it is not from the main pipe so there is nothing chopped, and that the thermos drops a few drops but that also did it when it worked

Hi. Do you have pipe that is not visible on the floor? Do you have areas with visible humidity? regards

Well, the pipe is not visible and there is also no humidity since the pipe in question is vertical, so if water comes out it would fall to the ground apart from the fact that I have the water cut for that.
