Good morning, I have an orbis botonera brand heater over 20 years old, it is impeccable, but I do not find flexible the measure that it has in the inputs and outputs of the heater, the pipes that leave the wall are 1/2 inch without thread welded with tin to 1/2 elbow with thread, the entrance to the water heater is male thread and its diameter is intermediate between 1/2 and 3/4 inch, look on the internet but I did not find something similar. In turn, the outlet of the water heater is female thread, incompatible with the type of conventional flexible of today since it also has female thread at the end that joins the water heater, the diameter is the same intermediate between 1/2 and 3/4 . What measure is it? Are pipes still being manufactured and so on? What alternative is there?

All the orbis I know come with a 1/2 "male thread terminal. Possibly missing a piece

Hi. In a sanitary house with good assortment you will find this measure. Formerly and I don't know why, Orbis and Ferrum brought strange measures. What you are needing is a nipple that at one end has a 1/2 "thread and at the other the" strange "thread. It is not something impossible to achieve. I leave you a link so you can see which ones you need. as articles 709/30 - 709/31. http://www.vittor.com.ar/catalogo/codos.html

That's right, there was a series of Orbis that brought metric thread instead of the traditional gas or withwort thread, it is fixed with a 1/2 adapter bushing and matter solved

Affirmative !, thanks, it is a rare measure, I went to a sanitary house with octagenarians to secure the ball, he told me to put sellarosca to the thread and teflon up, I always put only teflon, the sellarosca for me is for installation and for threads of gas pipes, what do you recommend?

I work in a hardware store and many times they have brought me threads that are rare ... I do not think you find that type of thread ... what I offer when these cases are is a max joint or quick coupling that enters and tightens in the pipe yours and the pipe you have connected with a 1/2 pipe or sometimes there are couplings as for lead pipes to join with 1/2 pipes ... I hope it serves greetings
