If you lose a joint, re-caulk with hemp and pitch and last another 100 years, if you have to transition between PVC and H ° F ° it is best to plug in a female union and caulk with putty Parsecs, prior thorough cleaning of the piece of iron; and do not use it for 24 hours at least to cure the putty inside

Hi. If you have the female connection or the bell of the pipe (mouth), for Awaduct for example comes a rubber transition joint with lips that works very well. The problem is that it is expensive and is not usually achieved. We have solved it with plastic putty since it is a fast drying epoxy. I leave you a picture of how the board is and how it looks.
