Hi. You can effectively do it. Replace the elbow of the discharge with a T and place a 45º curve in the free mouth. Through it you can place the hose. What if, place a pipe section so that the hose does not obstruct the passage of water from the pool. Raise the hose a little, otherwise you will have problems with the water load.
