The diameter of the pipe is proportional to the flow required according to the artifacts you want to feed.
It is not the same to feed a pool, than a bathroom with shower and hydro massage.
Another thing to keep in mind is where does the water come from? Direct from the network? , Of an elevated tank? Height of it? and the distance to the last artifact.
Anyway, is not just putting pipes , you have to know other factors, shower height, type of fittings, distribution, etc.
It is not the same faucet of ceramic closing, that conventional closing (to valve)
