Water in the sewer inspection chamber

Hi. A year ago a plumber made the connection to the sewer network. To do this, he took the drain from the bathroom and the laundry room to a concrete inspection chamber built on a 60x60 site that was left in the front garden. From there they took a 110 pipe that goes out to the street and connected it to the sewer's master pipe that was attached to the avenue two meters underground. It was pending to connect to said chamber the water outlet of the kitchen. Three months ago I was living in the house, I started to drain the kitchen and when I opened the inspection chamber the plumber (which is another) found it with water. At least a room full of water. It tells me that this should not be so and that there is a problem in the network connection. Is it normal for there to be water in the chamber? will there be a current ebb? They had not put the non-return valve because supposedly the master pipe was too deep for the water to rise so much. The water in the bathroom and the laundry has the new pipe and drains the most well, we only noticed that sometimes it took a little longer than normal to lower the water in the bathroom sink. What to do in these cases. Is Aysa called? or a plumber can solve it. Is the network connection badly made? Thank you!!!

hello: it may be an obstruction in the elbow where the pipe goes down to connect to the sewer, call a bottle opener and probe the pipe with the machine maybe you see the solutions greetings

Hi. The presence of water in this chamber is not normal at all. Possibly there is an obstruction in the spout or the spout is incorrectly placed. This is a matter of opening the area by discovering the pipe, but not before attempting to uncover the exit of this chamber. The non-return valve is not necessary. It is very useful to prevent rodents from entering the sewer network. Regards

It may also happen that the branch is covered. The first thing I would do before getting into quilombos would be to call AYSA and tell them that the sewer does not drain you. They will come and put a hose to uncover (if it was covered). They will do that at the access point closest to the street line you have. If you don't have it, I don't know if you're going to get the job done. If it is covered, you will see how the water drops immediately. Sometimes it can happen that it is covered from the street line to the branch, or that the branch is even covered. In all cases Aysa verifies both. If that is not solved, it is because you have a problem in the outlet pipe.
