Hello You have to remove the lid and fold the hook of the soup so that the button does not lock. Or ... that the soup does not catch on the float, the two things are corrected by bending the wire that hooks the button lever a little. Take advantage that you have the lid outside and check: key, spring and button washer that if they are not bronze they oxidize and give problems. Regards
