Good morning everyone!
I am trying to assemble the print run of a new salamander and I have doubts about the lack of coincidence between the manuals and the parts I bought. You will realize that it is my first experience in the subject but as I did not get professionals I decided to try it on my own taking all the available information.
The Tromen manual (my salamander is another brand, that's why they will lower the sections of the pipes from 6 to 4) indicates this:

In my case I will use conduit of 4 (which is the one that comes out of my salamander) and jacket of 6.
The first problem I have is that I bought (in a specialized house, made of stainless steel) a 4 but female hat, which fits on the outside in the pipe of 4. This would not be ideal because creosote leaks could occur, although I do not think that be serious in this section of the pipe (the last one).
The second problem, more serious because it prevents me from putting it together, is that the reduction is male in its minor section, that is, it goes inside the conduit of 4 (equivalent to the section that reads "outside the conduit of 6" ", remember that in my model I am 2 inches below). I asked in Mercado Libre if there is a reduction that goes outside the pipe of smaller diameter and they say no, that they are the reductions (in any case what I ask would be called "piece with through hole"), which does not seem match what is indicated in the scheme.
Attached image of what I have so that it is better understood.

The smaller part of the reduction fits into the pipe of 4, but dances in the female of the hat, which also would not work because connecting the hat to the reduction would be separated from the conduit of 4 and leave the jacket open to the entry of waste from the chimney and would contribute to disintegrating the wool.
Another issue is that the wide part of the reduction also dances in the male of the pipe of 6, has the measure to go outside the normal section of that pipe (this could be resolved by cutting the male part of the pipe, not investing it because it would be female upwards facilitating the entry of water).
In short, the reduction is not according to what I expected seeing the scheme. Even if I got a male hat I would not be fulfilling the function seen in the scheme where the reduction is outside the two pipes (jacket and duct, which is 4 in my case and 6 in the scheme; I do not clarify section of the jacket because it is not relevant).
I hope I was clear.
Thank you all for the contributions you can make.
PS: I add an image that I found in the Ñuke manual, a little clearer at this point and more similar because it uses a female hat.

It is observed here that the reduction is larger than the section of the duct, although smaller than that of the cap (female). To do this my drawback is that the section of my reduction does not let the 4-pipe pass.
