Hello!
I feel a little silly asking this question. But I'm worried I will not find a solution.
For the past 10 years, I have had a double steel bar that was in its place without problems in the granite kitchen counter (glued from below).
But at the beginning of this year began to give off. So I consulted the toilets 'house and they advised me to use Parsecs' [e] steel epoxy adhesive cream .
I removed the bacha, removed the old adhesive and paste the cream respecting the time of extraction. But in a few weeks it came off. Convinced that maybe I did something wrong, I went back to buy the adhesive, cleaned it with more care and again soon after it came off.
I then contacted the manufacturer, who ordered a sample of the detached adhesive removed, analyzed it and concluded that it was properly prepared. Then they gently sent me 2 pots of epoxy cream to put it back on, claiming that it was the right amount to use. That was about 3 months ago ... I placed it carefully following all the indications they gave me and yesterday it came back to release for the 3rd time in the year !!
Apparently it peels clean off the side of the granite. The adhesive is deposited in the flange of the bacha.
Anyone who participated in this forum had any positive experience to recommend me how to effectively place a stainless steel basin under a granite countertop? Is there any reliable and effective adhesive for this job?
Thank you!!!
Greetings.
Sergio
