sunken floor

I have sunk the floor in the kitchen, just below the counter and I think it is the broken drain pipe, the problem is that said pipe is asbestos cement since the house is old and crosses the kitchen until you reach the chamber that is in the patio. I would like an opinion of how to face the problem so I do not have to lift the whole floor. Thanks

Hello Plumbers have an arrangement with God: he does not do plumbing and we do not do miracles. Break up, something is always going to have to break, forget about the old pipe and try to look for a route for example below the counter, the pipe in question only serves the kitchen or comes bringing from another side? because if you only drain the kitchen sink you can use a 50 mm PVC pipe that requires fewer breaks to place it, you only have to take into account the fall towards the registration chamber; if you can make a plan and pass it to see that it can occur to us; regards !

only of the counter, break has to break but crosses another room, has sunk enough for what I think is there nomas, you could introduce the pipe of pvc in the old.

No, clamshell is going to be impossible, you can not take it out of the kitchen and send it on the other side to a discharge that follows the cloaca?

can you explain more how it is sunk? Let's start there, the pipe is easy: it breaks and you put a new one, there is no better one. The issue is that I did not give you the base that would be the most complicated in this case

Hi If the floor has sunk, there is no one to lift everything. The accumulated water already did its damage, weak underlay, broke folder. It is necessary to break and allow the removal of the area (aided with lime or cement), then restore the subfloor with a good tamping and that way you will not again have problems. If you do not dry all the existing moisture will end up going up the walls. Greetings and luck.
