GreetingskarimBuilder.
Regarding your first question, the answer is No. The reason is very simple: Electric showers consume too much depending on either the amperage or power indicated on it. They carry a specific conductor or cable according to their consumption and the circuit that you have with the plug very likely the driver will not be able to supply it and you will have possible fire regrettably. Use a plug to connect it even less. In the long run the plug will stop serving and the contacts will be damaged.
We do not know where you write to us (country?) And depending on the country the driver may be different depending on whether it is the metric system or if it is the English system.
In relation to your 2nd question, and part of it has been answered and to complete it, the electric shower must be connected to a double thermomagnetic to protect the conductors to use as indicated in the legend of the case where the shower is incorporated.
On the other hand you should consider that very possibly during the use of the electric shower you will have to stop using other electrical appliances of great consumption, it is not going to be that the main thermomagnetic is triggered by excess consumption.
Comment on it. Thanks and regards.
