Hi everyone. After a few months, I asked for the reconnection of the meter of a apartment that I rent in a consortium of 8 departments, until there everything was fine. When the crew came the next day, they call me and tell me they can't connect because the cables of that apartment are not identified. They tell me that a licensed electrician has to go, and I replied that it was they who removed the meter and that they should have left it identified. A registered electrician wants to charge me $ 1500 to identify the phase and the neutral ?????????. I see the other meters and I see nothing more than paper tapes stuck with a + sign in the positive and the word NEUTRAL in the negative. What do they really demand that I don't understand? Why do they make so much mystery to connect a meter in a apartment that is not new?

Thanks for responding. The subject was simple. Edes removed the meter for lack of payment (the apartment was rented and did not pay the last months) these people left. And they dropped the meter and removed it without marking it. The cables were ready. It was their problem. But fix it thanks.


