Hi. I am in Russia. I am doing an electrical installation and I find that there are three cables and there is no phase. Look for a phase on the other side and measure the phase with the three wires and with two e 220 and with the third 110. What can I do?

Hi. As to have a little more data. Is it a board? A complete installation? What tension should there be between phases? Regards

Regards PLamoru. As servimat1 (greetings) mentioned to you, more data is needed to better understand the situation you are considering. Data such as if in the property there is only phase and neutral from the Low Voltage Lines where the cables or conductors that enter the property are connected or if there is more than one phase (three phases plus neutral) that feed that property. I understand that you are in a room that could be a room for example. Given that in Russia the base electrical signal is that of 220 VAC and 50 Hz phase-neutral, of the two readings where you get 220 VAC, both cables would be neutral while the 3rd cable could have a false connection to give that value and you might also think that it carried the neutral signal. This is where one would ask ... Why so many neutrals and no phase? The healthiest thing is to check (upstream) from that point where the three wires are visible - whether in a visiting box for example - the other ends of the three wires to really make sure where they come from and finally to which thermomagnetic they correspond in the Board (or Boards if there is more than one in the building). We do not know if the electrical installations in that country keep the lighting circuits completely independent of the circuits that feed the outlets or if there is the possibility that the power supply of both the lighting and the outlets to which they are being supplied are present in the same circuit they call mixed circuits and where in certain countries that is not recommended. We do not know if in the Board the thermomagnetic are double to feed each circuit with phase signal and with a neutral signal at the same time or if there are only unipolar thermomagnetic to protect the phases while the neutral goes directly without going through any thermomagnetic in the Board . Therefore, try to provide more information about it so you can get better help. Thanks and regards.

Thank you. It was a kitchen and I could not write more, because I did not know how to enter the forum again. Here unipolar thermomagnetic are generally used, and for more, in that house they did not respect the color code. As you rightly tell me they were two neutral, the third was a strange thing. I ended up looking for a phase from another place and joining the neutrals. Thanks for your help and response.
