Hi. Be careful to check your voltage before connecting them. If you speak of a driver, they are not 220V, but 12. If they are really 220V, who informed you did so in an equivocal way. LED lamps do not heat or do very little. Its connection is like a common lamp. Regards

I imagine you are referring to the dichroic led, 4.7w. To install them directly to the house line, buy the ones that are 220v. Is it just replacing existing conventional ones or is it a new installation? Regards.

It is new, we are building and I want to put this type of lighting in front, side and back of the house ..
I have read that this type of lighting needs a driver to avoid overheating.

The driver, or source, is used when you put 12v LED lamps, since it is a transformer in reality.
If you use 220v led lamps it is not necessary, go directly to the house network.

Hello, there are many models and types, there are 12V, 110V and 220V dichroic (but I do not think any of these are your case, because the consumption is usually about 25w), There are also led (simulating the dichroic) that you can get 12V or 220V (look at the box which is yours)
