problems with photocell for lighting

Greetings, I have a photocell that leaves the lights on; that is, it does not turn them off when in sunlight. I tried a tester and apparently its parts are good, only that the lever that opens and closes the circuit turns on and off does not.
I am not a technician, so I would appreciate an explanation for the ignorant in the matter. Thanks a lot in advance

Hi. The photo control was working and stopped or did you install it recently? Do the test by connecting the phase on the black wire and the neutral on the white, without connecting the red that is the output. Cover the control with something dark and check if the output relay works. Regards
