Good evening, I would like to know what you think about these brands of Differential Switches since I am starting in Electricity and there are brands that I know and others not so much: Schneider domae (very good), Zoloda (good). and now I put the rest to see what they think, of these first two I think about what friends electricians have told me. Sica is not so cheap and I miss my house, and the others are Jeluz, Six Electric and Roker. The List goes again and they tell me that they think of Lower to Higher Quality, obviously for the price one can realize the qualities. Schneider Domae Zoloda Sica Jeluz Six electric Roker General Electric Thank you very much and greetings, Juan Carlos

Hello If there is one thing that is obvious, there is no sure way to realize the quality for the price. It is clear that Schneider products, first-line products, or second-class products such as Domae have high technology in their design, and are of very good design and physical quality; but they do not guarantee to be more effective than a low-cost Sica. Everyone pays based on their expectations and the money they have, if you are one of those who think that the price says it all, nothing they say will change your thinking. In differential circuit breakers I can only say that Thomson (France license) towards some of excellent quality, of course they failed like everyone else, but I still see them after more than 35 years, and more than 30 that are not manufactured more in the country (that obsolete lever model); the point that frame is objective, I can certify it, the rest, is only an opinion in the air as valid as anyone can have it. Do not misunderstand, generally low price indicates lower performance, but expensive is no guarantee of anything. If you value the safety in that device, a Schneider is what you should always advise, but not everyone can buy them, nor guarantee the best price / quality equation. Opinion column, take it as such. Hello, your answer and explanation are very good, with respect to the prices you are right, the most expensive is not always the best. In the apartment he rented I had a Sica that was good and failed me and I changed it to a Zoloda. Which does not mean that it is bad but it failed me. Like there is something very real the product can be very good but maybe the customer can not afford it.
Thanks again and get me out of another doubt if the Thermal is 25 amps is it protected with a 25 Ampere circuit breaker? Thanks again. Regards

Hi. The differential circuit breaker protects people, don't forget that; and it is suitable for a home installation where we have a 25A thermomagnetic main switch. Of course, you can put one of 40A, but it does not vary in its purpose. In your other query I extended this comment.

Hello On the one hand there is that in our professional life, we have surely replaced more devices of the sica brand than the Schneider brand, and that is why our conclusion points to them being bad, but we must not fail to recognize that the majority that We change due to failures are sica, but also most of those we see installed are sica, of every 10 circuit breakers we see, 6 or 7 are sica and perhaps only one is of a good brand The Domae line is not as good as they paint it. If you want to go to good you have to go to the multi9 line In descending order I can tell you: Schneider multi9 Siemens Eaton Möeller ABB General Electric Schneider Domae (The rest of the brands you mentioned are similar and would be below those highlighted above regards
