Hello, what emergency lights should we install in the sector stairs on the floors of the building? We have two or three power outages in the year. I will appreciate the brand, duration, power and other details. Thank you!!!!

Hello You can opt for a common emergency light type Led, which is hooked with a pair of screws and recharged with a tab to a power outlet (or plugged directly into an electrical distribution box); or put a luminaire that has built-in emergency light on the same ceiling. Both options are valid for the use you want; the difference is aesthetics, but of course the combined teams are more expensive. There are many models of each type. I leave photos as examples (not a brand recommendation)

Hello, it is usually to the client's taste but as long as LED is fine, there are girls who, being led, are doing very well.

Hello For a building and with three cuts a year I would recommend that they be stuffed. To prevent theft (even if you don't believe it; the owners themselves make them disappear) Today the LED lights are quite accessible, the power or luminosity is measured in lumens and for a stairwell there is not much needed. Regarding the duration (I imagine on time) depends on the battery and consumption. Those of led consume much less, are more durable (in terms of replacement) and with a 12v 7a battery (the common alarms or motorcycles) you can have 7 or 8 hours of autonomy. Regards

Hi. Cuts cannot be scheduled. Possibly if they say that they have 3 or 4 per year they can be programmed for the "technical" cuts, that is, because of problems in the lines they cannot be prevented. The best luminaires in lighting quantity, LED version and long duration are for example those of 120 LEDs. They give a very good amount of light and have an autonomy of between 8 and 12 hours. We have placed this type in a consortium and simulating a cut, the amount of emergency lighting was 80% of conventional hall lighting. As for the qualities, buy which one you buy, do not opt for the small imported ones of low power since before a small voltage shock they will burn. The secret of any luminaire is to simulate a cut once a month (if there has not been one) for a couple of hours so the batteries will be kept in a charge / discharge cycle to last when necessary. Thank you very much Servimat1 !!! I live in Palermo. The cuts are not programmed, but occur unexpectedly when there is a lot of consumption due to very high or very low temperatures like now. Very good your advice of one drill per month to take care of the batteries

We have placed the Gamasonic and Pampas that come with high brightness SMD LEDs with very good results.
