Distance between electrical pipe and gas stopcock

Hello, my query is about the following, I did the whole gas installation of the new house, the gas pipe surrounds the whole house through the patio, without stuffing it, only the wall was drilled in the places where the gas intakes are, which is in the kitchen, in the living room for a stove and in the laundry room for the hot water tank. There are already all the perforations covered with cement but in the living room I have doubts about the separation between gas and electricity. The issue is that the electrical installation passes through the wall and above the gas stopcock and parallel to it. It is separated from the gas stopcock by about 5 or 10 cm. and it is only in the length of the stopcock, since the spout enters through the wall from the outside inwards and to the touch goes an elbow to the right, the stopcock and another elbow down so that the pipe continues closer from the floor to the stove. Something like that This is how it would look inside the living room. Where the green line is electricity and the red gas, and the red double line part is the stopcock. If it is understood, it is seen that the stopcock is closer to the cables, about 5 or 10 cm. and then the gas moves away and the rest of the pipe remains about 20 cm. The electrical pipe is made with the corrugated plastic pipe and the cables are new, about 6 or 7 months ago it was completely new. The truth is that I was left with the doubt of whether some insulator or something was needed. Later the house will receive several reforms, but at least within one or two years. And I could use at that time to place something if necessary. I await your opinions. Thank you.

I do not know if the regulation exists, but, it is always regulated to avoid that they dare to make major mistakes, the minors always exist, but in practice, (unless someone puts a wick and drilling both pipes and has a short), it does not have problems, more than anything because all the gas pipe is in the air, in the industry that proximity is seen more frequently than expected, and there are no problems, it is not to live scared. luck

Hello Don't worry, nothing happens, in principle everything is fine ; You have not violated technical safety guidelines regarding electrical and gas lines. Regarding practical pipes, everything is fine, nothing will happen because two pipes are close. As for gas losses, that is another completely different issue, and does not involve the electrical installation as far as what you describe. Regards

Good day by regulation should be 30cm apart from each other! If a metrogas inspection came to you, I don't know if they would allow that!

Hello The regulation in its section 5.7 does not say that, simply that they should not be touched. Different is for cabinets, niches and meter enclosure. Attached image Regards
